Quail Brook Golf Course
About
Quail Brook Golf Course in Somerset is one of central New Jersey's top public courses. The challenging design is a favorite amongst local golfers. The layout has a diverse mix of holes, some of which are spacious and wide-open and others that are rolling and tight. Although the golf course may seem short at 6,630 yards from the back tees, don't be fooled by the yardage. The course can feel much longer thanks to the hilly terrain. The front nine has subtler undulations while the back nine is dramatically hilly, which makes it a tough course to walk. Quail Brook Golf Course's undulating fairways lead to challenging sloped greens that are framed with strategically placed bunkers. There aren't too many opportunities for driving, but your short game will definitely get a workout.

GOLF NOW DID NOT SHOW AERIFICATION ALERT 4/24
This has nothing to do with Quail Brook, I am very upset with GOLF NOW. As an avid golfer we all know how important aerification is, but most avid golfers, prefer to wait 2 weeks until the greens heal especially when big holes are used. Also when you love a course for fast greens
and then realize they have been aerated with lots of sand still there, the greens run very slow.. Quail Brook said they informed Golf Now at the end of March. When they were doing aerification. But Golf Now still has not put up aerification alert
Slow play
Quailbrook is a very nice course but it was less appealing than normal because on this particular day (1) a cartpath only restriction even though the course had dried out (2) greens were slow and inconsistent and (3) A disjointed foursome ahead of us played slower and slower causing me to skip two holes in order to get the round finished. Not what I usually experience at Quail Brook.
It’s January
Course is in amazing shape. With all the rain and it being cold you’d think it would be worse.
Very solid shape
Love this place
Great course conditions for January. 18 holes in less than 4 hours. Great layout. No complaints.
Great course
Great course, well manicured, wide fairways. Course in great condition. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Good course for the money!
Only bad thing was driving range was closed earlier than usual besides that great course!
