Better course, still great price!
I've golfed Pinelands many times. Upon hearing about some grandiose plans for improvements trying to be made at the club, I was worried that it would lead to a price increase which would take the course from my normal rotation to a once in a blue moon type of course. I think they found a great spot now. The tee boxes were immaculate and there have been some subtle changes to holes, but regulars will find it mostly familiar.
I'd still highly recommend it, but pace of play is typically not great. The staff does attempt to keep things moving, but sometimes I feel they overbook. As long as they remain at this current price point I look forward to coming back often!
Great conditions
Nice course Newley remodeled course was in great shape
Pinelands Diamond in the Pines
Pinelands has put out the money and the course is in great shape!!! New Tee Boxes, Greens redone. They continue to do work. Great track very underrated!!
Amazing
If you played this course 3 yrs ago and played it again today, you would think you're at a different place.
From tree removal, bunker redesign, new tee boxes, reshaping greens and overall maintenance, this place went from a 3 to a 12!!
Only gripe is no coolers, even if you're just bringing water..on 90+ degree weather, AND NO WATER ON COURSE, except on 9, this is horrible, IMO!
Other than that, totally recommend playing except when it's really hot out..haha
Nice condition
Greens and tee boxes best I have seen on a public course this year. Layout ok. Pace of play was slow, took 4: /2 hrs during a weekday.
Beginning of a new season
This is in great condition, and many of the upgrades have been applied. Many new tea boxes and greens are in great shape.
Must Play
Pinelands has done a wonderful transformation. They have redone all 18 tee boxes and greens. My 3rd time playing this year and keeps getting better each time I play there.
Front nine tees and greens open, back 9 tees open may 1st. They are in great condition, greens getting better every day, fairways are also growing in nice, not any rough around fairways, bring your credit card, cash not accepted on course, why not I don’t understand.
Front nine versus back nine
A lot of work done on front nine . Back nine still under construction but it helped my game by 10 shots over front nine so make the day excellent also price was right
Coming along great!
I’ve played this course over the years. During construction and temporary tees, this course was still great. Yesterday was the first time playing with regular tees and WOW do they make a difference. ( only played the front 9 ) The course layout is amazing, a short par 3 is now 200 yards. Tee boxes are pristine. Greens roll fast ( still some aeration ) Once this course is 100%, there is no doubt a go to course regularly. Even in its condition now, it’s worth the money.
This course has improved immensely.
The day I played, the greens were still recovering from aeration process in the back nine tee boxes were temporary tees. Very nice course.
