Drainage
The condition of the course was poor because it rain the day before and the drainage in this course is poor. Other than that it is a good course.
Beautiful Course
First time playing this course. Very nice layout and well maintained for this time of year. Looking forward to playing it when the weather is better.
Great bones. Would love to see it in summer.
Snuck in an early March round at Galloping Hills. Even at this time of year with top dressed greens you could see how the course would be a bear in mid-summer. The ‘Hills’ are in play on most holes with 25+ uphill climbs on 4 so there is some home field advantage. Jump on any June tee time as the high grasses will frame most holes to add to the challenge.
Unique Track
Played yesterday, frost delay scared off most golfers, had an 11:50 tee time and was not affected so the pace of play was terrific. Course was in very good shape except for Ball marks that were not addressed by the golfers that hit them! I still can’t figure that out for the life of me! The course has a great mix of hole layouts. You will use every club in your bag!
Outstanding County Course
Played at Galloping Hill once before years ago but was pleasantly surprised to see the improvements. Excellent amenities would be an understatement. It’s the best of the best. Layout is tremendous with the only downside being one Par 5 until the final hole. Conditions were very good. Looking forward to returning in the near future. Highly recommended course.
This is a great course to play
This is my first time playing here. The staffs are very friendly. The course is beautifully maintained. I will tell all my friend to play here.
Overrated course
Spotty slow greens, rest of course was well maintained. Slightly weird layout. Lady starter needs to learn better people skills, can’t be rude to golfers if you want them to start before they’re tee time. Lots of members they treat like gold but good luck if you’re not, pro shop staff were cool and beverage staff also. Only worth play if you get a good deal on GN
Great course for the money
They usually have great hot deals. I often play this course for 40$ with a cart. Cant beat that deal really. The range is nice, putting and chipping greens. Club house is beautiful. Course is in great condition. Not necessarily a hard course but not too easy either. Greens have been quick recently. They have GPS range finder in every cart which is great. Pace of play is a bit above average last few times i played. For 40$ ive found myself playing this course every week.
