Wedgwood Country Club
About
Wedgewood Country Club in Turnersville is one of the most popular public golf courses in the Tri-State area. It offers an upscale atmosphere with a traditional layout that pays homage to Philadelphia's most prestigious and renowned private courses. The course is like playing two in one with a front nine that is spacious and open while the back nine is much tighter and more heavily tree lined. The entire Wedgewood layout sprawls across gentle undulating terrain, providing subtle breaks throughout that will test your skills. There are two holes that are particularly memorable, the 13th, one of the toughest par 4s in the area, and the 17th, a tough par 5. The 13th is a lengthy par 4 that requires a second shot over water with a long club to a difficult target. Wedgewood Country Club's penultimate hole demands accuracy with an uphill drive through a chute.

not great condition, including the trash can Photo submitted by Michael8613535 on 10/09/2013
Nice fall track
Plenty of tall oak's to make you adjust your shots. Length with the narrow fairways made it an enjoyable morning. Greens are just about recovered from the fall aeration, but the puts still rolled out.
First time
For money good deal front nine seem be better shape, back nine lot dried out fairway hitting off dirt, front nine much better
Slowest pace of play
Took us 4hrs 45 mins to get to hole 14. Slowest pace of play I have ever seen. No ranger to make sure people are on pace. Pro shop does nothing either.
Goose Droppings and more Goose Droppings
Some greens were unplayable based on the volume. Carts were a pain in the behind also. Couldn't drive to our ball at times and with the weather it didn't help.
Beautiful now
Played this course around 4-5 times this year course keeps getting better except for the geese. Greens are better Tee boxes have improved and the people at Divots are always nicr
Poopwood Country Club
The course was riddled with geese poop like more than I’ve seen else where and a ton of feathers made it hard to find a ball. The back 9 has 6 cart path only holes and the carts will turn off on you if you go off the cart path.
I even had it turn off while we were on the cart path.
The sand traps look like a gravel parking lot.
Overall no where near the money there are much nicer courses not far away.
The course was tough if you can't hit the ball straight off the drive. The course wasn't in good condition and needs maintenance, but overall fun time.
Great Sunday Afternoon Round
Good day to take in 9 for an afternoon. Had a great time.
Still Great
Pace of Play was Outstanding. 4 hours for 18 great shape tee boxes need some work as well as the traps but greens were good and quick and indulated
Love what they’re doing to the place
I have played here 4 or 5 times this season. They have improved tremendously since last season by laying down new sod and adding GPS trackers to the carts; definitely enhances the experience. My only complaint is all the geese that hang out on the coarse and the droppings that they leave all over the place needs to be addressed. Great go-to course for me though!
Unexpected
Wasn’t expecting much from a course with an Average At Best! GolfNow reviews (62%).
Huge, FLAT, clean tee boxes!
Well maintained and shaped fairways.
Bunkers with “fluffy” sand that have been placed with purpose.
And 7000+ yards.
The only slightly negative thing I’d mention are the greens, they’re really slow and have a shocking amount of little bare spots from ball marks.
