the course is in better shape and you can't beat the price.the staff was friendly but sometimes you get some older gentlemen who take their time and hold other golfers up. i think the course has really improved and even though some holes are easy, others aren't so much.

I fell in love with the 10th hole. I didn't play it correctly, but it is beautifully layed out. Rolling upgrade side slope on several holes. The maintenance funding seems to be an issue. As in mowing, ground repair and manicure issues. We had a very nice time. It's got very good bones and some TLC would bring this gem back on the front page.
I did jump from the 10th hole to the adjacent 15th hole. The 11th hole is located down the road a piece, then after 14th back up the road a piece, We played the lost holes after 18 and the staff was very accommodating

You can probably play as many holes as you'd like, but it's in really bad shape. Don't bring the Pro-Vs.

The summer heat and under resourced staff make it hard to see the great bones that define the challenging well designed layout for most, but not all f the holes. Careful to go from #10 to #11 (we went the wrong way). The mgmt was friendly and let us replay the holes we missed NP. Carts are electric and new. I really like the old holes. 27 holes have been honed down to 18. A mixed bag with a few outstanding topography

The course was in awful shape. Flooded fairways and bunkers. Everything felt like the rough. Greens were ruined. Pro shop staff is unfriendly and not welcoming. We tried to get a beer at the turn because we were so frustrated with the course after the front 9,(and it was only 11:30am) and they would not serve us because we were not "social club members". They told us it would only be $2 to join but we would have to wait 24hrs to enjoy a cold one. No thank you. We ended up leaving and not even playing the back 9. One of the few golf courses around my home and I will never go back.

Beckett has been in rough shape the last couple of years. Infected greens, messy fairways, cart paths that are almost unbearable, and plenty of other things that have kept it from being a very nice course. I've heard from people that this course used to be impeccable, but now it seems like its on its last leg. It has a decent layout, with just enough elevation change to add difficulty. The driving range is okay, but not anything special. The clubhouse is... in need of some sort of care. Theres a hole in the ceiling of the pro shop that is leaking water, and is an obvious eye sore, a flagpole that lacks an American Flag, and a putting green that is smaller than my living room carpet. The tall pine trees make the course seem very welcoming on arrival, but when the course is in shabby shape, with fairway grass that is sometimes as tall as the rough, it is hard to go back and pay the money to play here. The only thing worth mentioning that exceeds my expectations every time are the employees. They are some of the nicest, understanding people I have ever met. A rare breed of people to say the least when it comes to golf course employees.

Maybe in a year if more money is put into it, we will see drastic improvements, but until that happens, I don't think this course could get any better. But, then again, i don't believe it could get any worse at this point.

It is a shame because the course is in a prime location, where it could easily get a lot of golfers from three different states. (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware.) But in the condition the course is in now, I don't see that happening.

Tees and greens need work. Hard to have a good game when the greens are so bad

I have played this course the past 2 Saturdays. Recently moved into the immediate area and I am looking for a close by friendly course that will not break the bank. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. I really like the layout of the course and it offers a good challenge. It is in need of TLC but I feel it could be a very nice course. There are many holes that are actually in good shape. Biggest downfall is the lack of sand in the traps and some of the greens need work. Others are fine. Opinion would be that this course is in transition. Suggestion would be to people playing to fix your ball marks and divots. Makes it harder to improve if everyone is not doing there part. Overall I am going back because I like the course, the people and it is a good value to me.

I played last Friday on a perfect day and I was pleasantly surprised. There is still a long way to go to get this course in good shape but the layout is really challenging. There is a nice mix of long and short holes and the terrain varies from flat to hilly.

On the downside, the fairways were uneven and the bunkers needed more sand. Judging by management's responses to past reviews, they're trying to get the course in shape. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again.

I've played this course several times and for several years and it seems to get worse every year like being neglected since it went from a 3 round 9 hole course to a 18 hole course but this time o don't even believe it is worth the discounted price

The course is good for beginners or if it is your first time going out in a while. The playing pace fits whatever you need with people willing to wave you through.

Make sure you bring a bunch of balls. If you do not hit it perfectly in the fairway, it is nearly impossible to find your shot. Even if you go right off the fairway good luck trying to find your ball. There are a couple of hills and limited sight holes which making spotting your balls and being aware if someone is in front of you nearly impossible.

If you want to go out just to play a round and aren't too concerned with your score this is an ok place.
