North/South Course at Sand Barrens Golf ClubSand Barrens Golf Club offers three unique nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The West is the local favorite while the North is the most challenging and South is the prettiest. The North course features tree-lined fairways and large, undulating greens that putt fast and true. The fairways offer ample room off of the tees, which makes the golf course more forgiving. One of the most challenging aspects of the course is the abundance of sand. Golfers will often be faced with carries across deep, sprawling waste bunkers as well as numerous greenside bunkers. There is also the occasional water hazard to watch out for. One of the most demanding holes on the course is the North's par-4 seventh. This lengthy hole features a split fairway as well as bunkers and waste areas to the right and behind the green.
