Pennsauken Country Club

I’ve played a number of courses in S Jersey area and Pennsaken course is one of the better ones. They keep up with fairway and green maintenance so they’re not an excuse for poorly hit shots. I have to own all of my mishits haha. Sand boxes are better than most other public courses as well.

Great that we could golf in the middle of the winter and the conditions were good. They should lower the price given the winter conditions.

We enjoyed play on good conditions and true greens. We were four walkers at noon who waited on the group in front which thought they needed par 4 greens cleared before flailing their shots all over the place, blasted music and left ball marks - not the courses fault. Greeted by dtsff and starter and had a great time. Only miss was the supposed portajohns at 6 and 13 for winter were nowhere in sight.

1st, I’d like to comment on the course. I pull in as usual and didn’t take notice to a 8-1/2” X 11 piece of paper stating “Course Closed”. I was joined by my group when someone drove by us and pointed out the rain accumulation and why the course was closed.
So much for notifying golfers independent of the paper sign not noticeable at 6:20am.
To top it off, they have an event at 1pm, so forget about trying to play a round. They were closed until the event (1pm).

greens were probably the worst I've ever seen them and they are still one of the best in the area. for a muni it's getting a littttlleeee bit pricey. kinda crazy for 95 on the weekend. conditions are wonderful but man thats crazy expensive

I only played the front 9 holes, so I'm not sure how the back 9 played. Every hole was in great condition and wide open. There are plenty of bunkers around the course but I didn't see any water hazards. I had a 30 minute ride to get there and I will definitely play there again soon

The greens had a lot of slope. The pin locations were mostly near the edge. This was one of those times were you would assume the greens keeper was having a bad day and just wanted to mess with people. Also, lots of ride older prep Lee here. My foursome got yelled at twice by elderly people for playing too slow when we finished the round right on time. Suggested pace of lay was 4:11 we finished 4:13. Probably won’t be back

10-15 minutes over the bridge from Philly. Greens were immaculate but i guess the greens super had a bad week bc the hole/pin locations were in the most absurd spots.
