Reviews
Nice short track
Great value using golf now.
Course was short but in nice shape, especially after all the June rains.
Get a border collie to get rid of the Canada geese!
Jfo
Great course for beginners
Course is for beginners even with the super low rates I don't think I will return.....I struggle to say bad things about the course because everyone that works there was super freindly even the guys cutting the grass.......The greens were in good shape but the layout and the fairways are iffy at best.
Tight fairways and nice greens.
TIGHT FAIRWAYS AND NICE GREENS, the course was not crowded for a Sat.
too many geese.
I stepped in geese feces on every hole. Fairways not maintaied. No ball cleaners. Greens full of feces from geese. Some hiles without signes. Some signes need painting. Terrible course.
Great Place to Golf !!!!
Played here a few times and will definitely look forward to playing here more often. I drive all the way from Jersey City, NJ and its a perfect time. Also golf here on the few weekends that I do golf( I try to play weekdays instead of weekends) and the few times I came on a Sunday, played by myself with no pressure of any kind. No crowds.Great traffic conditions on weekends. Love Rolling Greens.
Easier course good for beginners
Shorter course, par 65, in good condition. Good for beginners and good price. Was not busy when we played, can be walked.
Using GolfNow to book a reservation makes this course a great deal.
The ownership has made a commitment to improve the course. Trees are being cut down, greens and fairways are better maintained than a year ago.
The has fairly narrow fairways that run parallel so while the holes are fairly easy, the course rewards a straight tee shot.
Depends on the price
I think there should be something anywhere in the description or on GolfNow that lets you know this is a par 65 executive course. Thankfully I got a great rate on the greens fee so I wasn't too disappointed but one of the people in my group said he paid almost $50. That seems a little steep to me for a course where the par is 31 on the back. Otherwise, the course is in good shape and the greens were very good for the most part.
Greens were great
Overall this course is in better condition than most of the other more exspensive courses in the area. The grounds crew has done a great job getting the course in condition after Sandy. The in house staff could not have been more friendly.
Fun course
Greens were very nice and quick, varying holes, lots of leaves down though.
Fair price for an average course
The course is in fair shape, greens are kept rather nicely although the fairways and grounds can use a little work.
This course is fun and playable for all types of players .
This course has everything I like in a course. There are straight shots, long shots, shorts shots, shots over water, shots where you can not see the flag until you hit the ball, and shots that look closer then they are. Thats why I like playing there.
Green are very close
Golf fee is inexpensive.
Paths are very close between the courses so I would like to walk the courses. However some green are very close, so you have to check your green before you swing. Otherwise you might have to seek your ball at other green.
very laid back round of golf
bunch of holes with narrow fairways lined with lots of trees . better hit it straight !
