Rail/Lake at Great Gorge Country ClubGreat Gorge Country Club boasts 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The three nines: Railside, Lakeside, and Quarryside; are all unique from one another to provide versatility and diversity. The Railside/Quarryside combination is the most scenic course. The Railside nine gets its name from the railroad artifacts shaped in interesting formations that can be found on the par-3 third hole. The front nine is also the most forgiving of the three nines at the club. The back nine, the Lakeside, presents more of a challenge with its abundance of water features and mature trees. Strategically placed bunkers are also lurking throughout the entire course. As a result of the variety of playing options and the quality of all three nines, Great Gorge has become one of the most favored public golf courses in New Jersey.
