Quarry/Rail at Great Gorge Country ClubThere are 27 holes of championship golf available at Great Gorge Country Club. It has become one of New Jersey's most popular public golf courses since opening in 1970. The holes are dived into three unique nines that are played in three 18-hole combinations. The Quarryside nine is the most demanding while the Railside is the most forgiving and it is also the most scenic. When played together, they create a balanced course provides a great round. The front nine plays through dramatic rocky outcroppings and features tricky water hazards. The Railside nine is so named because on the par-3 third hole golfers will find railroad artifacts arranged in interesting formations. In addition to the three courses, Great Gorge C.C. also offers a driving range and putting and chipping greens.
