Mays Landing Golf Club, which is just a few minutes from Atlantic City, is considered the best value in the area. Routed through Atlantic County's pinelands, the course is both scenic and challenging. There are mature trees lining the fairways but the landing areas are nice and wide. Strategically placed bunkers also come into play as well as the occasional water hazard. The intimidating sixth is the most difficult hole on the golf course. A long straight drive is essential to reach the small green but that is no easy feat with a sand waste area and water to the right and a bunker to the left. The hole is made even more difficult on blustery days since it plays right into the wind. In addition to the golf course, Mays Landing also offers a driving range and short game facility with bunkers, chipping areas, and putting greens.

Great value for shore area courses, although pricey for prime time. Great, mature woodland style course. Flat, with some water on course, and use of sand along fairways typical of pine barren courses. Back 9 is superior to the front in my opinion, so if playing 9 I'd ask to start on 10. Very cozy clubhouse with good grill.
