Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis
About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

Old folks home golf
I glad older people are playing golf! Some even walking. BUT THE ROUND WAS OVER 6. HOURS…. Course is tight in some places. & all fairways are tight hard lies. For all the $$$$$
they make, IMPROVE THE COURSE…
County courses needs Friendlier starters
Booked a round to play showed up 45 mins earlier paid got range balls was making my way to the range and the starters yelling at me telling me were up still a half hour away from my scheduled tee time Pretty much told me that it didn’t matter that I paid for range balls he sending me out early
Atlanis - Ready for Fall seeding, aeraiting and rain
Course was in rough condition. Tee boxes non existent. Rough in most places rock hard and burned up. Will check in late October.
Great value
Atlantis is a really nice course. Great layout, awesome staff. The greens are in fantastic shape and roll true.
Not Worth it
I never complain about a golf course and I understand stuff happens BUT this place is brutal. 3 hours to play 9 holes. We paid for 18 and tried to see if there was something the pro shop could do to accommodate us… and they pretty much told us tough luck.
Pay the extra money to play a nice course where they regulate pace of play.
If you’re thinking ehhh maybe I’ll give this course a shot.. DON’T. You’ll be upset at yourself like me and my buddies.
Hot Day in LEH
Need some work on the t boxes but iver great condition for the lack of rain we had.
Not too bad
This is our first time playing there. The starter let us out a little bit early and we finish the round within 5 hrs because of the 3 ladies playing in front of us. They were hitting 50 yds every shots. Luckily, they were playing for only 9 holes. Layout was good with a lot of trees.. If your balls went into the woods, do not go in. There are a lot of mosquitoes waiting for you! We got a really good deal from golfnow with cart. We will definitely going back again.
Will be Back
First time for me at Atlantis. I’ve already played there a 2nd time and gotten an OC Card. Starters were very accommodating; jockeying Start times to get us out together and giving us helpful info on green speeds and rough conditions of certain holes. Course is wide open helping to keep some errant shots in play. Greens played slow but they were true and in great condition. One of the better Courses I’ve played this year. More water than sand so you might want to lay up instead of going to the green; especially on 14.
A Shell of itself
A great Fazio layout that was once a tremendous course, now looks like it’s barely operational. Several tee boxes barely had grass, the fairways looked like they haven’t been cut in a week, and the trees were overgrown. Clearly, the county owned course is putting in minimal funds into this establishment. It’s a great place to go if you are looking for a nice walk , but not golf. On the positive, the pace of play was excellent. Probably because there were more rangers than green heads. It’s a shame because you can still see the potential of this track. Unfortunately, we will not be back. Ever.
