Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood offers 27 holes of championship golf that are divided into three nine-hole courses: the Pines, Links, and Ridge. They are played in three different 18-hole combinations that may share the same pinelands feel throughout but each course offers a unique set of challenges. The scenic Ridge nine is covered with rolling bluffs and towering, mature pines. The undulating landscape is rare for most New Jersey golf courses that sit along the shore. The elevation changes provide tricky uphill and downhill lies. With such variety amongst the three courses and practice facilities including a driving range, and putting and chipping greens, Eagle Ridge Golf Club has earned the reputation of being one of the best courses in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.

Nice layout. Greens were OK (on the slow side). Fairways were OK. Tee boxes are loaded with crabgrass. Biggest problem is pace of play. With a mid AM tee time on Saturday, the round took 5 hrs 15 minutes. This shouldn't be with $98 for greens fees & cart. Also wrong that they charge you another $5 for a couple of range balls. Course could be very good with some TLC and someone keepiong an eye on the pace of play.
