Farmstead Golf & Country Club - Clubview/Valleyview Course
About
The Clubview nine, which opened in 1963, is the original course at the 27-hole Farmstead Golf & Country Club, located in northwest New Jersey, approximately one hour from New York City. Offering a traditional mix of par 3s, par 4s and par 5s, accuracy is key on the Byron Phoebus-designed course. The Clubview nine closes with two very demanding holes, the long par-4 eighth, with an approach shot over water, and the par-3 ninth, which is surrounded by water.

Farmstead 10/1/23
Was a great course and had alot of fun!
Pace of play was the only problem as the people in front of us were being very inconsiderate of the people behind. We all have to learn and have fun but unfortunately when you hit a drive and it doesnt even make it to the womens tee you should probably just drop a ball and continue play….. coming from a beginner.
One of my favorites
I've played the club/valley 18 two times now, and both times I've been impressed by the entire course, the conditions, the kind staff, and the excellent pace of play. The club 9 is a nice warmup to the much more difficult valley 9, but together they make for a challenging but rewarding 18 holes. I would definitely recommend this course.
My New Favorite Place in NJ
Played the Lake course. What a fun course. But the whole experience was great from the course to the staff and restaurant and snack bar. 45 mins from my house but so worth it. I thank you
Great Day of Golf
The Weather was great, along with the course was in excellent condition.
Got out on time, and the pace was very good. Played 18 holes in 4 hours. I will return for sure!!!
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. On a day I was supposed to play there I came down with Covid and was not thinking to cancel my teatime. I called both golf now and the course directly with absolutely no sympathy or empathy for my sickness. And when talking to the people in the clubhouse the management hung up on me which is completely and utterly unprofessional spend your money elsewhere.
Solid Course…skip Valleyview if you can.
The Club and Lake nines are the ones to play. Skip the Valleyview nine if you can, doesn’t compare to the better ones Club and Lake.
