After playing Tanarack East and West for many years, I know to give both courses several days to dry out after significant rain. That being said, I cannot complain about the condition of either course, only the over-abundance of slow and/or inconsiderate and sometimes downright rude players there. I doubt there would be a problem if the course ranger (assuming there is one, though I have never seen him) would take a more proactive approach to encourage a more brisk pace of play. Some of these people take forever to look for a lost ball, do not rake the sand after hitting out of a bunker, do not replace divots, and some even eat on every hole and leave their garbage wherever they want. They leave you with the impression they own the course and everyone else should cater to their every whim.
