Nice course with tough greens
Greens are difficult. Course in general is easier than most. Staff members are always friendly and helpful.
Very enjojyable golf and eateryp
The course was in good shape and the greens were too.
"The Roost" is a great 19th hole too.
Played 18 holes in three hours on a quiet afternoon
Nice afternoon weather for February and breezed thru 18 holes with a cart. Long and straight hitters will have many birdie opportunities here. Crews were working the turf in preparation for the Spring season. Cart paths need work as they are mostly compressed dirt. Overall a nice day. Also the full service restaurant and bar was busy with locals on a Tuesday afternoon.
Great place to play and have lunch.
Cream Ridge is in good shape to play through the winter. The fact that they don't have cart paths throughout means that the rough areas get worn down. The fairways and greens are in very good condition. A few of the pin placements could have been set better for the entire winter. The Roost has a great bar and the food is quite good. Mike is an excellent barman and manager. The rest of the staff is very friendly too.
Cream Ridge need to do better
The first thing when I arrive was that then men on the counter don’t take care of me with the care a costumer required. Take like 10 minutes, then he ask for my reservation and I give my name and tee time hour and tell me that my name it’s not there even I show him my reservation. A the end he finally find my name on the system.
I miss the 17 hold because the maintenance was working there, but no one in the clubhouse alert about that.
The only good thing was I meet two good men that play with me, they are very nice guys and we enjoy conversations together all the way.
Challenging course, always decent to good condition
I had an enjoyable round. This course challenges me to hit for distance off the tee and scramble around the green, with long Par 5s and a Par 3 I can't reach with driver 90% of the time.
Only complaint is the 17th hole was being repaired so I couldn't play a full round. Still, the price was right for a nice walk around the course, incomplete scorecard and all.
Great little gem
For winter play, course is in very good shape.
Cart paths and rough only, wasn't a problem.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Of course on site restaurant and bar a plus, recommended getting the wings after play.
Only downside is State facility, so no alcohol allowed on course.
