Had a good time playing. Very playable. Tight in spots. Short course. Hit 1 fairway and no greens but still shot an 85. Would play again once Course drys out.

Good time, fast. Considering amount of rain lately, course was in good condition and carts were allowed in all but a few areas.

This is a nice course that I have played a few times. One thing I have noticed is that it is always wet on some holes. This does slow down play and is annoying.

All the greens are freshly aerated and they are in the process of aerating the fairways. Today was a cold and windy day and was not crowded as a result so the pace was your own. However it was a difficult round due to all the aeration. But the course should be great in a couple of weeks.

Points have too many stimulations do redeem, either award credits or don’t but don’t make them hard to redeem

Great courteous staff. Course conditions were very wet, yet the greens were in excellent shape.

We brought a sandwich to eat at the course the staff was very nasty about the outside food after another staff member told us we could eat there not a very good image for the course

Play this course every year and it has always been a fun time. Course is well payed out but a little short from the senior tees. Still a challenge. Will play again next year when back in the area.

The course was in great condition for the time of year. Greens also great. Great day.

All of the greens were cut but not sanded or rolled. Impossible to putt. Management did not inform us of the condition before we booked the round. To charge us the full price to play under such conditions is very poor business practice. I guess to them Greed is Good.

Out of 18 t-boxes 14 of them, the grass was too high, the rough grass was very long. Perhaps they should hire a few more grounds people so us golfers can enjoy the game. I played Cape May National the day before and the grass was the proper height.

Very soggy after several days of rain. It was good to get out and play.

Played this course twice last week. I've played it at least 2x/year for the last 15 years on vacation. I couldn't help but notice that the price went up significantly this year (particularly since I paid for the entire foursome-my family). I figured that they must have made some real improvements in the course to up the fee to $96/player. When I started playing, not only did I not see any improvements, but the course was in the worst shape I had ever seen it in. The tee boxes were bad, full of crabgrass. The greens needed to be rolled. I kept hitting bumps in the greens that knocked my putts off course. When I mentioned this to the starter, he made some lame excuse about the weather. I live, work and play golf in New Jersey. This course doesn't measure up any more. The lunch facility was fairly good.

Always a pleasure playing a game at Avalon. Very friendly staff and the course is in great condition.

I play here often and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The conditions are better then any other shore course. Love this place! Keep up the great work.

I play here every summer when I come down to the beach and this course never disappoints, always in great shape. The greens are always slow which would be my only complaint.
