Seaview - The Pines Course
About
The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees.
Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

Nice course with some shade
As a beginner golfer I found this course to be very easy to follow while still offering enough challenge to my experienced partner. Also appreciated the shade and the evening saver rates.
I love place
Overall a great experience playing this golf course. Conditions were nice, greens were awesome, but Some of the tee boxes were a bit beat up nothing too serious. Staff was great, the pace of play was acceptable, and the two ladies, they paired us with were awesome. I do wish the snack bar is open, as I was hungry before the round. I will be sure to eat something next time before I play the there.
Starter is the most miserable person on Earth
The starter was exceptionally rude to us, even upon arrival. No idea what happened to him today. We had back to back tee times with friends, and when one of the foursomes arrived 20 minutes early, he made us go to the tee despite no one being around. We did him a favor and did not argue despite requesting we wait and tee off at our proper time. Then, inexplicably on hole 14 came up to on us the green as the group behind us arrived at the tee. He demanded we skip holes and forced us to go to 17. We never held up anyone and that was literally the first time we even saw the group behind us. This man refused to accept he could be wrong, said our pace of play was horrendous (I shot a 87, when did bogey golf become so criminal? Absolutely awful service. I have never once been questioned on pace of play in my entire life. I could understand if we were a real nuisance on the course, I was chewing my sunflower seeds having a great round with my wife. The starter is the most miserable man-child in South Jersey.
A good golf experience
Have played here once a year for 3-4 years. Course is in best shape I’ve seen. Greens in perfect shapes. As the course name implies, there are lots of trees. Lots of scruffy lies, tall grass and bushes if off the fairways… so going to play hard if you’re not hitting it straight. Plenty of bunkers… most traps in good shape with plenty of sand. Electric carts are very zippy. Played an early round as a twosome in 3 hours. Beverage cart is reliable and starters, cart attendants are well organized.
Hidden Gem
Two great courses and wonderful accommodations. I will def be returning
Great course…poorly maintained
I understand it’s been raining but the grass was not mowed on the boxes or the greens. The bunkers were also in poor shape and not raked. These are things that should be done. But I love the course and the layout.
Disappointed with the Pines
The Pines has a nice layout but the conditions have deteriorated tremendously. There is no sand in most bunkers, the “rough” is patchy, the fairways are ill defined, and the tee boxes are scratchy. The greens are the only part of the course that is in decent shape. The greens fees are twice what the course is worth. Stay away until they get their act together.
