The Pines Course at Seaview

The Pines Course is one of two courses offered at Seaview Resort in Absecon. The two courses, the Pines and the Bay, are two of New Jersey's oldest. The Pines Course is the lesser known of the two but it is just as demanding. Named after the pristine pinelands it is routed through, the golf course features towering pines and mature oaks enveloping all of the holes. Although the holes are not particularly dramatic, there are no tricky carries or breathtaking views, but the subtle challenges more than make up for that fact. Besides being tightly tree lined, the holes gently twist and turn and feature a variety of strategically placed bunkers. The subtly undulated greens also play fast. With a treacherous combination of tight fairways, intruding tree branches, and greenside bunkers on almost every hole, approach shots are rarely easy.
