Top notch
First time playing the course in the summer and I was impressed. Public golf can really be a let down in the NYC area but Galloping Hills was no let down. Greens running fast, fairways have great turf and the rough was consistent. The layout is fantastic with plenty of interesting holes for all golfers. One of the best public experiences of the year for only $45! Go play this course!
Well kept
Conditions were really good! Pace of play was good. Great value!
NIce and chanllegable coourse
It is the best course betweeen Manhanttan and midddle NJ. The only disadvantage is that it is diffifult to book weekend.

Course played very nice. Great test of golf. Beautiful fairways & most greens were fast & true. With multiple tee boxes and tight pin’s, this course with challenge the best golfers.Lot’s of elevation changes. Worth the trip . Nice club house & restaurant/bar.
Beautiful Layout
Course is in wonderful condition. Greens are very good but needs people to fix their ball marks. A few long holes mixed in. Worth the trip
One of the best and well maintained golf course in New Jersey. Although t point on whole 19 needs better upkeep Leo be to play here
First Time Player
Well of course you can tell by the name, it's very hilling and steep in some points. It had rained the night before and we had to walk. There was no "cart path only" due to them not having any marshals on the course. It's a unique short course only playing 6500 from the tips which weren't open. Defiantly worth giving it a try if you're a beginner or intermediate, strong players will easily overpower it.
